This project explores the beauty of history through a poetic yet functional map. My goal was to create a visually engaging way to navigate from Hayes Hall to Orton Hall—one of the oldest buildings at Ohio State—while honoring the voices of the past.
Inspired by retro-styled maps and the nostalgia of early computing, I incorporated elements reminiscent of Windows XP, reflecting the older computers found on campus. These machines store the digital footprints of those who came before us, much like history itself. By tracing these paths, we uncover hidden beauty in the past—fragments of stories that continue to guide us forward.
