Augmented Reality Project
The Augmented Reality Project aimed to develop an interactive and immersive experience using a children's book and Adobe Aero. After selecting "Frog and Toad" due to its engaging content and high-contrast illustrations, the project explored user experience (UX) and the Unity game engine. The UX phase included creating a persona (Emma, a 6-year-old) and a user story to understand the needs and current interaction journey with the book. This informed the development of an AS-IS journey map highlighting pain points and opportunities for improvement. Unity workshops provided skills in interface navigation, file setup, image importing, UI building, video/audio integration, animation, and touch interaction, which could enhance the AR experience by adding interactive elements, animations, voiceovers, and sound to the "Frog and Toad" story.
